Call from Norway’s Foreign Minster for a ceasefire in Sudan

'I am deeply disappointed by the failure of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Response Forces (RSF) to respect the ceasefire', said Minister of Foreign Affairs Anniken Huitfeldt.
'They have caused loss of hundreds of innocent lives, enormous suffering and massive destruction', said Huitfeldt.
'It is long overdue that they implement a ceasefire.'
'I urge the international community to put strong pressure on the parties in Sudan', said Huitfeldt.
