Joint Nordic declaration of support for Ukraine

Today the G7 countries announced agreement on a joint declaration of support for security assurances for Ukraine. The Nordic countries stand together in declaring their support for the initiative, and Norway joins the declaration.
‘Norway joins the G7 declaration of support for Ukraine. The five-year Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine already in place represents an important step in providing this type of support. The security assurances are an important supplement to the comprehensive support package for Ukraine that was approved by the NATO countries at the Vilnius Summit,’ said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
