Statement by Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide on possible attacks against Israel

I am deeply troubled by reports on possible attacks against Israel. We call upon all parties to exercise restraint and avoid escalation. Norway has condemned the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. It is imperative that international law is respected and all civilians protected.
