Statement on the situation in Palestine

‘I am deeply concerned about the expulsion of Palestinians from refugee camps in the West Bank, as well as statements from Israeli authorities indicating that Israeli forces will remain in the area and prevent residents from returning. This is unacceptable’, said Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.
‘All internally displaced persons must be allowed to return to their homes. Damaged infrastructure must be repaired’, said Eide.
