Whaling

As a part of old traditions in Norway, hunting for minke whale is being done in Norwegian waters. After a five year break, whaling started up again in 1993. In Norway, whale hunting has always been done in combination with traditional fisheries.

The government proposes restrictions for Ukrainian men

The Labour government intends to tighten the rules on residence for displaced persons from Ukraine. Ukrainian men between 18 and 60 years of age will no longer be granted temporary collective protection.

Recommendation - New assessment of the company Rheinmetall AG

New information which has been brought to the attention of the Coucil has lead to the conclusion that the grounds for excluding Rheinmetall AG are no longer valid, and a new recommendation was issued with regard to this.

Recommendation on exclusion of the companies Rheinmetall AG and Hanwha Corp.

The companies were recommended for exclusion because of their involvement in production of cluster munitions.

Temporary collective protection for Ukrainian refugees
