'I am deeply concerned by the developments taking place in Israel. Things are continuing to deteriorate. Norway is following the ongoing judicial reform process closely and the Israeli authorities are well aware of our position. The demonstrations we saw last night clearly illustrate the strong opposition to the planned judicial reforms in Israel. If passed, the reforms will weaken democracy in Israel.'
