Statement by Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide following reports of air strike on Gaza hospital

I am deeply worried about the reported attack on a hospital in Gaza tonight with hundreds of civilian casualties.

Hospitals must be protected under international humanitarian law and attacks against them are illegal.

Civilians and health care facilities must be protected.
