The Foreign Minister on the general elections in  Myanmar

'Congratulations to the National League for Democracy and Aung San Suu Kyi on winning the general elections in Myanmar. The high voter turnout shows people’s commitment to the reform process. Norway expects the next government to use this mandate to achieve further democratic reform and inclusive development', said the Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide after the elections.
