The Department of Public Governance Development

The department is responsible for coordinating and developing public administration policy and promoting innovation in the public sector. It manages the ministry’s duties related to construction and property policy in the state civil sector and oversees Statsbygg. The department also handles administrative responsibilities for the County Governors, coordinating their management across ministries and agencies, and supervises shared services for the County Governors. We act as the contact point for the Royal House and manage the budget for the appanage.
