During the parliamentary election in 2013, an internet voting trial was conducted in twelve selected municipalities
Internet voting was a supplement to the regular paper ballot voting. Voters could therefore decide if they prefered to vote using the Internet, or using a paper ballot. It was only possible to cast an Internet vote during the advance voting period.
