Research and Institute Policy Section (SFI)

The section is responsible for research and institute policy within the Ministry's area of ​​responsibility. Important tasks include the Ministry's agency management of the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy (NIBIO) and the Veterinary Institute (VI) and the management dialogue with the Research Council of Norway. Furthermore, the section is responsible for following up international research cooperation in the agricultural and food fields.
