Intensified efforts to promote integration is one of the government's six main focus areas. The main challenges in this area are low employment rates among some groups of immigrants, skills gap and exclusion along economic, social and cultural divides. The goal of the integration strategy is increased participation in working and social life, through a coordinated and comprehensive effort. The intensified effort to promote integration and this strategy are important to ensure economic and social sustainability, opportunities for all and a welfare society with trust, unity and small differences.
