13 Making use of the opportunities created by digitisation

The digital revolution is increasing access to information and services in all areas of society, and is creating new opportunities for social development and economic growth. Digital capacity building is therefore essential and should be seen as an integral part of all development efforts. We will promote the use of digital technology and new means of communication both in long-term development cooperation and in humanitarian crises.
