In today’s session of the Council State the King has honourably discharged the following state secretaries from their offices:

• Mr. Gunnar Kvassheim, state secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister since 19 October 2001
• Mr. Leif Helge Kongshaug, state secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture/Ministry of Agriculture and Food since 19 October 2001
• Mr. Hans Olav Syversen, state secretary at the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs since 3 October 2003
• Ms. Elisabeth Aspaker, state secretary at the Ministry of Health and Care Services since 18 June 2004
