Today, the King in Council has awarded 18 production licenses comprising 46 blocks or parts of blocks. Enclosed is information regarding which companies that have been awarded operatorship and/or participating interest in the production licenses and a map indicating the position of the blocks.
The King in Council has awarded operatorship to the following companies (number i brackets): Hydro (3), Statoil (3), Amoco (2), BP (2), Mobil (2), Saga (2), Shell (2), Esso (1) and Phillips (1).
The King in Council has awarded participating interest (operatorship included) to the following companies (number i brackets): Statoil (8), Hydro (6), Mobil (5), Saga (5), Amoco (4), Shell (4), BP (3), Conoco (3), Enterprise (3), Esso (3), Agip (2), Amerada Hess (2), Elf (2), Phillips (2), TOTAL (2) and Fina (1).
