The response at the first deadline for submissions, 31 March 2008, is very good. A total of 80 projects, with volumes of 90 million CERs, of which more than 40 million CERs for delivery during the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol, are offered.
The Ministry of Finance invites participants in the CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) and JI (Joint Implementation) markets to submit Expression of Interest on sales of CERs and ERUs.
The response at the first deadline for submissions, 31 March 2008, is very good. A total of 80 projects, with volumes of 90 million CERs, of which more than 40 million CERs for delivery during the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol, are offered. These numbers do not include offers where the volumes are yet to be specified.
The Ministry is in the process of analysing the submissions and intends to conclude agreements by the end of May. The next cut-off date for offers will be on the 31 May.
