Ambassador Eirik Glenne elected Chair in the WTO
The General Council of the World Trade Organization (WTO), on 8 February 2006, noted the consensus on the slate of names of chairpersons for WTO bodies and elected ambassador Eirik Glenne of Norway as its new Chairman for a period of one year. Ambassador Glenne is the permanent representative of Norway to the WTO in Geneva.
