Secretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion, mr. Jan-Erik Støstad, held the speech "Building the bridge safely" at the oil conference ONS 2006 in Stavanger. Mr. Støstad also presented a new HSE award, The PSA Award, to Professor Torgeir Moan.
Building the bridge safely
Secretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion, mr. Jan-Erik Støstad, held the speech "Building the bridge safely" at the oil conference ONS 2006 in Stavanger. Mr. Støstad also presented a new HSE award, The PSA Award, to Professor Torgeir Moan.
The 2006 award was presented during a HSE (health, safety and the environment) lunch in Stavanger on Thursday 24 August.
The PSA is established by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway and ONS. The goal of the PSA award is to recognize particularly outstanding efforts that have contributed to better safety for employees and generally higher HSE standards.
