15. november arrangeres et møte mellom tsjekkiske og norske NGOer (ca. 15 tsjekkiske og fem norske) på ambassaden i Praha. Et særskilt fond for støtte til NGOer skal opprettes under finansieringsordningene i Tsjekkia. Formålet med møtet er å se på noen av hovedutfordringene for den tsjekkiske NGO-sektoren, skape nettverk mellom tsjekkiske og norske NGOer, og identifisere muligheter for prosjektsamarbeid mellom tsjekkiske og norske NGOer. Dette møtet vil være en forløper for et større lanseringsseminar som vil bli avholdt når NGO-fondet i Tsjekkia blir lansert i løpet av første halvdel av 2006. Møtet arrangeres i samarbeid mellom NROS (den tsjekkiske NGO fondsforvalter), Den norske Helsingforskomité og ambassaden i Praha. (15.11.05)

NGO workshop in Prague 15 November 13:00-17:00

– Potential for Czech-Norwegian NGO Co-operation

The workshop is intended to serve as a preparation for the launching of the Czech NGO Fund. It will look at challenges for the NGO sector in the Czech Republic, exchange experiences and look for possibilities of co-operation between Czech and Norwegian NGOs. Finally, the workshop should contribute to the preparation for the launching of the NGO Fund, which will take place early 2006.

The Norwegian Royal Embassy in Prague, NROS and the Norwegian Helsinki Committee arranges the workshop in co-operation.
