EU energy market rules included in the EEA Agreement

Rules for the European energy market (the Third Energy Marked Package) were incorporated into the EEA Agreement on Friday, in a meeting in the EEA Joint Committee.
- Norway and the EU are closely connected through the energy market. By including the Third Energy Market Package into the EEA Agreement, Norwegian actors are secured access to the market, says Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Søviknes.
