NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to visit Norway for the first time
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre has invited NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte to visit Evenes and Ramsund in North Norway Thursday 22 May. ‘Norway is NATO’s eyes and ears in the north. This visit will give Secretary General Mark Rutte the chance to see that for himself,’ said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

Stable governance in uncertain times
In the revised national budget, the government maintains the course set in the budget passed before Christmas. The most significant changes stem from the unanimous decision in Parliament to significantly increase support for Ukraine and from the introduction of a fixed electricity price for Norwegian households.
