The Allocation Committee it is an administrative body within the Ministry of Children and Equality whose primary responsibility is to distribute grants and subsidies to voluntary national children's and youth organizations in accord with regulations.
The Allocation Committee is an autonomous body appointed by the Ministry of Children and Equality. The Allocation Committees primary responsibility is to distribute financial support to national, non-governmental child and youth organizations in accordance with the regulations governing the grant scheme. The Allocation Committee is administrated by a secretariat which is located in the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Bufdir).
The financial support consist of both national and international grants.
