Developments and operations

In the 50 years since Norwegian petroleum activities began, about 45 percent of the estimated total recoverable resources on the continental shelf have been produced and sold from a total of 108 fields.

Forests contribute positively to a sustainable climate balance, both as a carbon sink and a renewable resource that can replace alternatives more harmful to the climate.
