Requirement on Declaration of Compliance for all types of food contact materials. Maximum limits for Cd and Pb in release of metals from articles made of glass, metal and non-ceramic materials without enamel coatings. Maximum limits for Pb, Cd and Ba from ceramics

The ML for Cd and Pb is lower the ML set in Council Directive 84/500/EEC of 15 October 1984 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to ceramic articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. In addition an ML for Ba is set. (article 25)
