In the middle of August, Norway - with Denmark and Sweden - will participate in air services negotiations with Japan.
In the middle of August, Norway - with Denmark and Sweden - will participate in air services negotiations with Japan.
The main purpose of these negotiations is to improve the capacity on the routes between Scandinavia and Japan, and to increase the possibilities for codesharing between interested air carriers. It will also be important to bring the respective bilateral Air Services Agreements between the parties in conformity with EU/EEA law.
Air carriers with an Operating Licence in accordance with Council Regulation 2407/92, and which are established in Norway, will have the possibility of informing the Ministry of Transport and Communications of their opinion regarding these negotiations by contacting Senior Advisor Pierre Chauvin, tel.: 00 47 22 24 82 77, e-mail: pierre.chauvin@sd.dep.no
The negotiations will take place in Stockholm on 15 and 16 September 2008.
