Blue Justice 2020
Date: 07/12/2020 | Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries
A sustainable and fair Blue Economy requires cooperative global efforts to fight organized crime in the fisheries sector.
Crimes such as human trafficking for forced labour, corruption, large-scale illegal fishing and tax crime contribute to food insecurity, human rights violations and loss of state revenue. To realise the UN Sustainable Development Goals fisheries crime must be effectively tackled.
The Blue Justice Conference 2020 brings together global leaders to do just this.
The High Level Blue Justice Conference is going live on 10. December, 2020 at 12.00 CET
