The Nordic Economic Policy Review 2026 will be launched in Oslo on Tuesday, 6 May, with the option to attend both in person and online.

The publication presents recent Nordic economic research relevant to the design and evaluation of public policy.
The launch event will focus on the use of policy experiments, including Norway’s tax experiment with an earned income tax credit for young people. Researchers and policymakers will discuss how such experiments are designed, implemented and evaluated, as well as their opportunities and risks.
The Nordic Economic Policy Review gets its funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers for Finance through the Nordic Committee of Senior Officials for Finance (EK-FINANS). Nordregio acts as the administrative body and project coordinator.
