The Contract Continuity Regulation is extended until 1 October 2023

The Ministry of Finance has asked Finanstilsynet (the Norwegian Financial Supervisor) to assess the possible necessity of an additional national framework governing the provision of investment services from companies outside the EEA to professional parties and qualified counterparties in Norway, beyond the existing framework.
The deadline for Finanstilsynet's assessment, and if necessary a draft public consultation note, is 1 April 2023. The Ministry of Finance has consequently extended the Contract Continuity Regulation until 1 October 2023.
