Section for International Cooperation

The section coordinates the ministry’s tasks relating to international work.

Norway has a broad international commitment to health policy, including via cooperation in the Nordic Council of Ministers, the EU/EEA, World Health Organization (WHO) and in the High North.

Furthermore, the Section is responsible for bilateral agreements, trade policy matters and for the facilitation of the political leadership’s international travel activity.
