Requirement related to restrictions of hazardous chemicals as well as requirements related to other products
Main requirements
It is prohibited to manufacture, import, export, sell and use any substance or compound, or solid processed products containing mercury or mercury compounds. The ban also includes substance and substance mixtures for analysis and research purposes.
The prohibition does not encompass uses regulated in REACH Annex XVII entry 18, 18a and 62.
