Section for Security and Emergency Preparedness
The section coordinates the ministry’s responsibilities relating to emergency preparedness and security within the health sector.
Key tasks in emergency preparedness and security include the development of systems, contingency plans, competence-building measures, exercises and crisis management, as well as international cooperation on prevention and crisis management.
The Section serves as the secretariat for the Health Emergency Preparedness Council (in Norwegian).
