Requirement related to restrictions of hazardous chemicals as well as requirements related to other products
Main requirements
It is prohibited to manufacture, import, export and trade textiles and leather containing more than 5 ppm (parts per million) pentachlorophenol or its salts or esters. For the analysis of pentachlorophenol, the method US EPA 8270 or equivalent test methods shall be used.
