Simple pressure vessels

The regulation applies to the making available on the market of simple pressure vessels, that is, any welded container exposed to an internal overpressure exceeding 0.05 MPa (0.5 bar), which contains air or nitrogen, but is not intended to be exposed to open fire.
Economic operators must ensure that the safety information is in Norwegian. Other instructions must be in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English. If a simple pressure vessel is to be placed on the market in another EEA State, the information shall be in a language determined by that EEA State.
The declaration of conformity must be in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English language. If the simple pressure vessel is to be placed on the market or made available on the market in another EEA State, the declaration of conformity shall be translated into the language or languages required by that EEA State.
Documents and correspondence relating to conformity assessment procedures shall be prepared in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English.
