Section for National Security, Preparedness and Crisis management (NSBK)
The section is responsible for policy development related to national security and preparedness planning within the Department´s area of responsibility.
This includes analyses and policy development for the Police and the Police Security Service with a focus on the most serious threats. The section is also responsible for the department´s crisis management.
The section participates in Nordic, European, and global cooperation forums, including the EU, NATO and UN, to exchange knowledge and experience within relevant areas.
