In the coming week Mr. Odd Roger Enoksen, the Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, will travel to Moscow to meet with his Russian colleagues. The discussions will focus on the possibilities for further development and cooperation in the northern regions.

On Tuesday 24 ^th> January, Minister Enoksen will meet the leader of the Energy, Transport and Communication Committee, Mr. V.A. Jazev, and the leader of the committee for Natural Resources, Mrs. N.V. Komarova. Minister Enoksen will also have a meeting with Mr. A. Miller, Head of Gazprom.

On Wednesday, from 10.10 – 10.40, Minister Enoksen will speak at the INTSOK conference: the Oil and Gas offshore Developments in Arctic and Cold Regions. The conference takes place at the Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow.

On the following Thursday Mr. Enoksen will have meetings with his colleagues; Mr. V.B. Khristenko, the Russian Minister of Industry and Energy, and Mr. J. Trutnev, the Minister of Natural Resources.

During Mr. Enoksen's visit to Moscow there will also be a joint meeting with Hydro, Statoil and Aker Kværner.
