EU-erklæring om tredjelands tilslutning til fornyelse av restriktive tiltak mot Russland for handlinger som underminerer eller truer Ukrainas territorielle integritet, suverenitet, og uavhengighet

On 12 March 2018, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2018/392 [1].

The Council Decision prolongs the restrictive measures for a further six months, until 15 September 2018. The measures consist of asset freezes and travel restrictions.

The Candidate Countries Montenegro* and Albania*, the EFTA country Norway, member of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine, align themselves with this Decision.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to these Council Decisions.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
